Loyalty pot scrapped for Bolton away match

From the Official site:

Due to the persistent standing by Manchester United fans over the past several seasons, leading to the blocking of gangways and overcrowding of rows at away matches, a detailed debate took place at the last meeting of the Fans’ Forum.

The group discussed whether the Club should review its allocation policy for a forthcoming away game to demonstrate to safety advisory groups and relevant football authorities around the country that Manchester United are attempting to alleviate the problem in a bid to maximise allocations for future away games.

This resulted in a recommendation from the Fans’ Forum that the loyalty pot should be suspended for the Bolton Wanderers away game on Saturday 1st April. Supporters who are members of the loyalty pot could still apply for this game but their priority status was not taken into consideration.

I realise this is disappointing news for many of you but hope you appreciate the position the Club has been placed in both internally and externally prior to taking this decision.
