Rio Ferdinand has hailed the qualities of Jonny Evans but urged him to be patient in his battle for a regular place at Manchester United.Sir Alex Ferguson rebuffed Sunderland's approach to buy Evans this summer and has already assured the defender he is a big part of United's long-term future.
